“HIV & hunger work in tandem. Malnutrition accelerates
HIV's progression. HIV worsens malnutrition”
Hands Helping Hands works to provide
access to proper health care and medical
treatment. Working with the local community
clinics, nurses and doctors Hands Helping
Hands looks to ensure that all members
within each community have access to
medical care
Each medical clinic that we build will also run classes and seminars promoting public
health and safety, to educate the community on issues such as; proper hygiene, disease
prevention and how to care for families or friends suffering from diseases such as malaria
and HIV/AID’s. Hands Helping Hands believes this is the key to creating healthy
sustainable communities. Improving the quality of essential health care in these
communities directly increases quality of life.
We look to increase access to medical care by building medical clinics and treatment
centers in remote communities. This opens up the doors of access to medical care for
many people who either do not the financial resources or physical ability to make the
longer journey to a nearby village which has a functioning medical clinic with properly
trained staff.
Hands Helping Hands believes that education is the key to helping stop the spread of
disease. This is why in addition to providing medical clinics and care we are just as
committed to promoting public health and safety.
Hands Helping Hands is committed to opening up access to essential health care and
medical treatment to remote and impoverished communities to help create healthy,
sustainable communities.
For most people living in poverty, seeing a
doctor is a luxury that few can afford. Most,
especially children go throughout their
childhood without seeing a doctor. For most
children this meaning becoming victim to
easily treatable disease such as, malaria and
water borne disease such as typhoid.
