providing only minimum protection from the weather.

HOUSING PROGRAM
Hands Helping Hands works to provide families and
communities with the tools and resources needed to
build adequate housing.
Taking an integrated approach we work with families
and community members to build each family a
home ensuring that no child or adult has to endure
the harsh elements of the environment
unprotected.The goal is for the community to work
together as one to rebuild the homes. Each family
will be involved in the rebuilding of their home,
providing them with not only a sense of pride and
accomplishment, but also allowing them to be as
involved in the project as much as possible
At Hands Helping Hands we are committed to
working with families and communities to provide
the tools and resources needed to build adequate
housing which will stand up to their environmental
surroundings.
Most of these are women and children, who account
for the majority of homelessness throughout the
world being forced to sleep unprotected from the
harsh environment.
